YOU ARE NOT YOUR WORK.

You could have the greatest idea, tons of success, and be on top of the world - but it doesn't mean anything about you.

You could be struggling to get your idea off the ground, hunting for your next big break, and striking out on your own, and - again, it means nothing about you.

You are not your work. You do not live or die with it's success or failure.

We forget this. We focus on taking care of business before taking care of ourselves. We bounce around from problem to problem and forget what we loved about our work in the first place. We forget that joyful kid inside who just loved to play. We let the metrics, our income, our comment sections dictate our next move and our worth as a human beings.

We forget that we are humans first and creatives second.

What's possible if we separated ourselves from our work?

What's possible if we took care of ourselves while taking care of business?

What's possible if we remember our humanity and used it to fuel our work?
